CLIENT 
Coaster Studios is a popular YouTube channel with over 250,000 subscribers, dedicated to exploring and reviewing roller coasters and theme parks worldwide. Their target audience consists of coaster enthusiasts who enjoy thrilling content and virtual park experiences.
PROJECT SCOPE 
I collaborated with Coaster Studios on creating cohesive and engaging thumbnail designs for three of their series: "Coastin' Down Under," "Coastin' Thru Europe Season 2," and "Coastin' The Desert." In total, I have created over 75 thumbnails for their channel.
MARKET RESEARCH 
Understanding the preferences and expectations of the Coaster Studios audience was crucial in designing thumbnails that would resonate with their subscribers. Coaster enthusiasts are drawn to exciting, thrilling visuals that showcase the unique features of each attraction and park.
PROJECT GOALS
1. Design eye-catching and cohesive thumbnails for each series, ensuring a consistent brand identity. 
2. Connect with the Coaster Studios audience by incorporating elements that appeal to their love of thrill-seeking and adventure.
DESIGN PROCESS 
Working directly with Taylor from Coaster Studios allowed for a highly collaborative and creative process. By receiving individual notes and requirements for each episode, I was able to create thumbnails that captured key details while maintaining a uniform look across the series. The design process involved photo retouching, image masking, color correction, and carefully selecting the most impactful images for each thumbnail.
RESULTS AND INSIGHTS
- The attention-grabbing thumbnails contributed to improved video performance and increased view counts for the videos in each series.
- Through continuous testing and analysis of analytics data, we made data-driven adjustments to optimize the thumbnails and boost view counts when necessary.
