Greeley Creative District is a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating local culture and supporting arts and creative businesses in Greeley, Colorado. I was brought on to refresh and expand their brand identity for use across print materials and internal communications.

The Design Refresh

The goal was to build on their existing logo while making the overall brand more functional. I modernized the design to improve scalability and clarity across different applications. Since internal teams need to use these assets regularly, I focused on creating a flexible system that was easy to maintain.

This process included developing updated brand guidelines with a refined color palette, curated typeface pairings, and new supporting graphic elements. These updates provided the cohesion and flexibility the organization needed to keep their visual identity consistent across various projects.

Key Deliverables

I worked closely with the organization to ensure the new identity was applied effectively across their most important channels:

  • Brand Identity: Modernized logo system and updated graphic elements.
  • Brand Guidelines: A comprehensive guide covering color, type, and usage rules.
  • Print Materials: Design and production of key assets for their 2024–2025 fundraising campaign.

Project Reflection

Refreshing the brand for a non-profit is always a very rewarding for me. By streamlining their visual system, I was able to give the Greeley Creative District a more professional and modern presence that better represents the vibrant community they serve.
