Coaster Studios films travel series at theme parks around the world. I design the thumbnails for those series: Coastin' Down Under, Coastin' Thru Asia, Coastin' the Desert, and seasons 2 through 4 of Coastin' Thru Europe.
A thumbnail has two jobs that fight each other. It has to win the click in a crowded feed, and it has to look like part of its series. I work directly with Taylor, who runs the channel, and we iterate on each one until it does both. Each series has its own look, but they all read as the same channel at a glance.
